Before the screen becomes cinematic, there is a system underneath it.
Mustapha B. D. Feika works at that intersection, where technical architecture meets visual imagination. He trained in Digital Filming and Visual FX at NIIT in Ghana, and spent the following years building and running the systems that organisations depend on.
For more than nine years he has worked in systems administration, network management and data management across government, humanitarian and health-sector organisations in Sierra Leone: an Ebola Treatment Center, a hospital, a national social safety net programme, a judicial inquiry and a national education programme.
That combination makes a different kind of creative professional: someone who understands both the image and the infrastructure behind it.
